Our Approach

People are a business' asset. However, if they do not have the capability, motivation and opportunity to change then they become its greatest liability. The key to our success is to deliver sustainable change by addressing all three areas. We do this through objective analysis, tenacious change management and collaborative leadership. A typical programme has the following structure:

We start by connecting people from across the business directly with the challenges faced by the Executive. They need to understand the drivers for change and their role in improving overall performance. We then give them the motivation and opportunity to start challenging their own standards and ways of working. We also use our objectivity and independence to help them breakdown cross-functional barriers and bring people together to work as a team.

When the root causes of underperformance has been found we provide a framework and the leadership needed to design and agree the way forward. Often it means new processes, new structures and new skills. Sometimes it means new people, rarely does it mean new investment.

We then form a joint team to deliver the change programme. Having already engaged the wider business in the solution, the key at this stage is hands-on leadership, pace and tenacity. Our highly visual programme management and governance process ensures that people do what they say they would do, when they say they would do it.

In the programme there is a focus on embedding the improvements, which frequently means people acquiring new skills. We ensure they receive the vocational training and coaching they need to adopt and embed the new ways of working.

Critically running throughout the programme is a benefits tracker. All benefits are recorded and independently audited to ensure the programme delivers what is needed and its reputation is a credit to all those involved.
